Opening Hours
Monday to Friday 7am until 6pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am until 5pm
CLOSED TO CUSTOMERS ON BANK HOLIDAYS
We do not accept guests early or allow late collections - please respect our opening hours. Gates are locked out of hours.
Payments and Deposits

All bookings require a minimum deposit of 40% or £40.00 which ever the greater made at the time of booking. (If booking is less than £20 full payment is required)

Deposit payments can be made by BACS payment, credit and debit cards are accepted or alternatively a cash payment can be dropped at our premises.

All deposits are non-refundable.

All fees are calculated by the day including arrival and departure day. (If guests checkout before 11am on day of departure this will not be charged)

All fees must be paid in full on arrival at the hotel.

We do not offer credit for early departure.

Please note we charge a premium fee in addition to the daily rate for 1 night only bookings of £7.50, however we do not offer this during our busy times.
Arrivals and Departures

All guests must be registered with us via our registration document.
-
No dogs will be accepted without full vaccinations - no acceptation's.

Arrival and collection times are between 7am -10 am and 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Mon - Fri and between 8am -12pm Saturday. Sunday.

Viewing is available between 9 am - 10 am Monday - Sunday and by by appointment only.

We do not run a day care service on Bank Holidays.

We are closed on Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Bank Holidays in lieu of Christmas/Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Year’s Day, and Bank Holidays ** please note we do not run a Day Care service on Bank Holidays

All guests on arrival at our hotel will be issued with one of our I.D. tag which are supplied by ourselves to attach to guests collars. (We do carry spare collars if required)

Woofs and Wags are not responsible for loss or damage of any items left with the guest including leads, collars and toys etc.
Exercise
-
Guests are exercised in line with new Government Legislation.

A minimum of 2 x 20 minute walks per day.

Guests have free time off lead in our outdoor secure field. Please request on arrival if you do not want your dog to mix with others would prefer them to be walked / exercised separately.

Where possible more exercise is given to guests to keep them happy and healthy during their holiday.

Guests are also given regular toilet breaks through the working day and before lights out.

We walk our guests both on site and in public areas.
Vaccinations
-
All hotel guests must be vaccinated and be fully up to date with Annual Boosters to protect us against:
Canine Parvovirus
Canine Distemper
Infectious canine hepatitis (Adenovirus)
Leptospirosis
Canine Para influenza

We do not accept any guests that have NOT been vaccinated against Kennel Cough. This should be administered a minimum to 14 days prior to arrival.

Please note even though all guests must be vaccinated against Kennel Cough there is still a chance that the guest could still contract Kennel Cough, Woofs and Wags will not be held responsible if this should occur.

Primary vaccination are to be completed at least 2 weeks prior to Arrival.

All guests must be treated with Flea and tick products and with a wormer 10 days prior to arrival, your Veterinarian will be happy to discuss this with you.

We require vaccination certificates and copied on arrival. You can also email your vaccination certificates to us prior to arrival, to make your check-in quicker.

If proof of vaccination is not provided we will not be able to accept guests on arrival.
Medical Conditions

Please note we can administer prescription medication as directed by your vet with prior arrangement

All items of medication must be clearly labelled and have guests name and dosage.

All prescription are locked away, medication will be checked by two members of staff before administration.

We do charge a small fee for this.

Can you please make sure that you forewarn us if a guest comes into season prior to coming in to the Hotel, so our staff our prepared and aware.
Veterinarian Care and Bills

Woofs and Wags will do their upmost to ensure our guests are free of injury and healthy, however there may be instances where we may seek advise and/or treatment for guests. If this should arise where possible we will use your preferred veterinarian , on some instances this may not be achievable and we will then have your authority to seek advise/ treatment from any registered veterinarian.

You the customer are responsible for all costs incurred for treatment of any injury or illness your dog receives while in our care including call out fees.

Comprehensive care will be taken off guests whilst holidaying with us. All reasonable care will be exercised to protect the health and safety of guests, however boarding is at your own risk.

By accepting our terms and conditions of boarding, you agree that Woofs and Wags do not take responsibility and in the absence of gross negligence, of all liability for illness, injury, loss or death of your animal.
Behavioural Issues

Please speak to staff at time of booking if the guests have behavioral issues, where ever possible the hotel will accommodate.

We can't accept aggressive guests.

If a guest becomes excessively aggressive towards our staff or other guests, or destructive to our facilities, we will continue to do our best to provide for its basic wellbeing. However, such animals may be restricted to their kennel and in extreme cases the owner may be contacted to arrange for collection of the guest. Additional charges may apply.

We will not accept banned dog breeds for boarding. This exclusion also extends to those with an exemption certificate. Any such breeds will be reported to the local authority.
Security

The Hotel is set in a small village and we do not have very many neighbours.

We have 24-hour site presence.

All doors are locked in an evening to assure the safety and security of our guests.

Farm Cam cameras are in operation on site.
Photography and Filming
-
Unless you inform us otherwise, we will often take photographs and/or film of guests whilst they are with us. We may use the content for marketing purposes, both digitally and in print. We will not us our guests name in any such material.

This content will be the property of Woofs and Wags, you are more than welcome to have a copy of any images or videos on request. Please note: An administration fee will be chargeable.
Abandoned Guests

If any guest is not collected within 3 days of departure date and no communication from the owner and our efforts to contact the owner have be unsuccessful, Woofs and Wags reserve the right to treat the guest as having been abandoned.

Woofs and Wags will where possible attempt to rehome the guest.

If attempts to rehome are unsuccessful necessary steps will be taken for the guest to be removed from our hotel and dealt with appropriately by the correct agencies.

The guests owner will be liable for any additional expenses incurred.
